Lovely golden yellow colour. Shimmering, elegant, light straw-yellow tints.
Most elegant nose, very positive for a Pinot Gris.
Warm, tender scents of the white-fleshed fruit type, only slightly musky. Nice aromatic base, stylish, with class.
The attack is docile, and the palate has a nice warm, ever-so-slightly fleshy texture, with fine, subtle local accents; a Pinot Gris with no complexes.
Its flavours are equally pleasant and tasty: here we have a mix of stylish fruit and an exquisite/clever assembly of finely-dosed spices. This jolly wine will certainly give lots of pleasure. As it is, at the moment a fine, perfectly ripe Brie de Meaux should send you into raptures. One to keep tabs on! .
Pancakes, steamed dishes, tandoori, also dishes prepared with yoghurt. 9-10°C.
And why not surprise yourself? Temper the ardent youthfulness of this wine with some Carré de l’Est, Feuille de Dreux or medium-matured Brie
